Hello, and welcome to my website.

You'll notice several things about my paintings; color, interesting subjects and unique compositions.

First off, I like color...always have. Whether it's purple shadows on a bridge at evening, a field of orange marigolds or a brightly colored tricycle being pedaled furiously by my grandson...for me it all starts with color.

The second and third things go hand-in-hand. I like off-beat subject matter - like old farm vehicles stuck in the weeds, landscapes & buildings in various stages of light and shadow and the exciting dynamics of a vintage drag racing vehicle in motion.

Everything interacts somehow to produce the final results in each of my paintings.

I never know what I'll come across next to paint. It's all very exciting. I'm constantly looking at the world around me for the next subject....always amazed at the visual variety of possibilities that pop-up.
